All procedures should be followed in Mr. Hart's classroom.
Entering the Room - Take your seat, get your materials organized, begning the Bell Ringer (if applicable)
Taking Attendance - Attendance is taken by empty seats, all students should remain in their seats unless instructed otherwise.
Missing Class work - For whatever reason you miss class, it is the students responsibility to check the Absent Folder. You have as many days you were out to make up the assignments. Students should see their peers for missed notes. All tests, quizzes, exams, etc. will require a scheduled make-up agreed upon by the teacher and student.
Turning Assignments In - Students will pass their papers forward always to the front of the rows when directed by the teacher.
Formal Writing Assignments - All formal typed papers will need to be submitted to the web site "Turn It In." Click Here for direction on setting up an account. Remember to save your work in at least two (2) places to be safe! (Please see Mr. Hart with any concerns well prior to the due date)
So you FORGOT your materials? - Mr. Hart is wiling to loan extra materials out such as textbooks, pencils, pens, etc. via a method of collateral. Basically you need to give Mr. Hart an item such as a book bag, jacket, or something of value to you in exchange for Mr. Hart's materials. Simply put you get your stuff back when Mr. Hart gets his stuff back.
There is one exception to this rule. Study Packets cannot be borrowed. Should you lose your Study Packet you need to print a new one off and start over. Should you forgot your Study Packet you need to write down all the answer on a blank paper and transfer them after class.
The Bathroom - Ideally students should not use class time for the restroom. Should an emergency arise, students should raise their hands and ask permission. Only one student may leave the room at a time. Each student should properly sign in and sign out when using the restroom.
The Nurse - Should a student require attention from the nurse, the student should appropriately get Mr. Hart's attention once the pass is filled completely out for his signature. All students are required to make up any work that miss while they are gone.
The Library - Students who need passes should fill in the pass completely then bring it to Mr. Hart for approval. Please understand some things are out of my control if I have to deny your pass for any reason.
The Writing/Computer Lab - Students who need passes should fill in the pass completely then bring it to Mr. Hart for approval. Please understand some things are out of my control if I have to deny your pass for any reason.
See Your Guidance Counselor or Principals - At an appropriate time during the course of the class period request a pass. I will complete the pass with the required information, sign it and give it to you. It is preferable that you stay for the lesson and go to the necessary office during the class activity. Take care of issues during study hall.
Sharping Your Pencil - Understandable if your using a pencil the tip will break from time to time. Please try to be discrete as possible when using the pencil sharper.
Activities - It is extremely important for students to follow all directions properly before beginning activities.
Fire/Other Emergencies - Students should remain calm and follow Mr. Hart's directions quickly and quietly to ensure everyone's safe.
Email - Mr. Hart checks his email continuously through the day and night. Should you have any concerns please contact Mr. Hart at bhart@nazarethasd.org. Please be advised, you will always receive an email back from Mr. Hart even if it is just to confirm he received your email.
Dismissal At The End of The Period - The teacher dismiss you, not the bell! The teacher may have last minute instruction or important information, so please remain seated until Mr. Hart dismisses you!
Our Goal - To have a fun, SAFE, healthy learning environment!
